I have taught web design, computer sceince and IT for many years across many levels. I now to apply my skills and knowledge in the commercial sector to build real-world applications.
I am highly skilled in front-end development stacks - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript = React, React-Native, Vue, and Svelte. I Have also used full-stack technologies = PHP, Laravel, Axios, Python, SQL

using Svelte to build reactive web Apps in an Remote - Agile environment utilising Git, Hangouts, Jira, Slack, Sentry, etc.

Full-stack developer role specialising in React, React-Native, SQL and PHP to build a dynamic tax app for digital self-assessment
using React to build the web App, React Native to build a cross-platform mobile App, PHP and SQL to create the back-end with API calls. We used the HMRC API to create a tax app for the phone and web. This is a permanent role with Untied who are an award winning FinTech Start up working directly with the CTO in an Agile environment with a 50/50 office/WFH split utilising Git, Zoom, Jira, Slack, Teams, Notion etc.

using React to break the generic mould and create interactive and responsive web sites as a freelance developer.
March 2019 - May 2019
Full-stack developer role specialising in ReactJS and Laravel PHP to build a dynamic user interface to fetch marketing data for the Volkswagen Group.
The contract was to build an easy to use UI to track and display various data relating to sales and servicing communications. I harnessed the power of ReactJS to build the front-end and Axios to send and receive data from the API and database. This was an exciting role that taught me much about commercial software engineering and how to harness the power of the web to disseminate and engage with data visually.
